Another HUGE win!!!!!!!

Our seats were on the floor directly behind our bench which made me quite nervous that Lillie was going to try to get off of our laps and run up and poke Jon or one of the players. I thought it was going to be quite the battle of wills keeping her in my lap, however she was quite well-behaved and LOVED being so close to the action (we sit about 4 or 5 rows back at the home games so we are normally close, but not this close). It was an amazing game and we won - AGAIN! That's nine in a row now and the first time in school history that we have beaten two ACC teams in one season! So exciting! GO TRIBE! It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!

<div>We had our first Christmas on our own this year. I thought it was going to be weird, but it wasn't. It was absolutely wonderful! It was so much fun watching Lillabel open all of her gifts and run around in excitement. We are so blessed to have such a precious daughter. It was so much fun teaching her about Jesus' birthday and the reason we celebrate Christmas. Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It was quite an adventure. We have been soooooo busy that I hadn't had time to take some pictures of Miss Lillabel for our Christmas card until the end of the first week in December! We took Lillie down to Colonial Williamsburg in hopes of finding a great spot to take pictures. It was the day of the Grand Illumination down in CW and although we knew it was going to be busy we were completely unprepared for the thousands and thousands of people that were there! Needless to say, Jon was MORTIFIED that we were carrying around a sled with garland trying to find the perfect spot to take a picture. Instead we just plopped her on one of the first doorsteps we came to and snapped away. Although she was in a wonderful mood, waving and smiling at the throngs of people that were smiling at her and taking their own pictures of her, I somehow did not manage to get a single good shot! Ahhh! I had hoped to get a family shot too - that definitely did not happen. Haha! Oh well, maybe next year. </div><br /><p>PS - That is chipped paint on an old doorstep in Colonial Williamsburg behind Lillabel not snow! I think a few people were worried when they saw our card about why she wasn't wearing a coat out in the snow! Haha! </p><p></p>

HUGE WIN OVER VCU!!!!

Oh my goodness! This season has been so exciting! We won again Saturday against a really tough VCU team. We ended up winning by one and it literally came down to the buzzer. I hate those kinds of games. The stress is just too much for me! Six in a row now! Wow! In quite the shocking upset William and Mary beat Wake Forest <strong>AT</strong> Wake tonight by 10 points!!!!!! This snapped a 23-game home non-conference winning streak for Wake Forest. Sneak Peek of Lillabel's First Birthday Party!

Here is a sneak peek of Lillabel's first birthday party. We are having it in two parts. We were hoping to have it while everyone was here but due to games, and everyones schedules we had part of it last night once Jon got home and will have the rest on Sunday evening. Last night we had her cake and opened a couple of gifts. We will have her cupcakes and open the rest on Sunday. Seeing how Lillian seems to be turning into quite the tomboy I am thinking this will be the one and ONLY pink party I will ever get to throw for her! Happy Thanksgiving

Hello everyone! We all hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Everyone arrived late Tuesday evening and we had a fun-filled day on Wednesday which ended with a big William and Mary basketball game. We beat Hampton by one point! That's three wins in a row! YAY!!!! Then we had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday! We had a delicious meal and then went on a walk in Colonial Williamsburg and ended the day with the beginning of Lillian Annabel's birthday celebration. (More about that later). It is so nice having everyone down here. I don't think I have seen my family on Thanksgiving in about five years! And we still have two more days with everyone here! Yay!

Finalist!!!!!!

So about a year ago I was contacted about having two of my rooms featured on Design Dazzle - Lillian Annabel's nursery and our guest bedroom. I gave them the info and sent my very amature photos and forgot all about it. This morning I received an e-mail saying I was one of ten finalists in their baby nursery contest! I won't win, seeing how the basis for winning is how many comments you get and I do not know anyone who blogs, but oh well, it was exciting to be picked! It also made me think to post some pictures of our homes on our blog so people can get a broader feel for who we are as designers beyond just clothing and accessories. For now, I will just post pictures of my place but in time Dana, Jamie and my mom will add their photos - although seeing how they are each in somewhat of a moving process it may be a while!
