I've spent the last several nights at Jason's painting and therefore went several days without opening my laptop so  I am a bit behind on e-mails and blogging. We are on our way back home now so as soon as I get a chance to sit down and start going through my pictures I will have several new things to share including our newest chalkboard print, photos of the girls, photos of my parent's breakfast nook, dining room, and their kitchen (I especially can't wait to share their kitchen), and photos of the progress we've made at Jason's. We didn't get as far as I'd hoped but I did photograph what we've done so far with my real camera so I can show you those and then hopefully my next trip up here we will get to the fun decorating and accessorizing part - this trip was mostly spent painting. Now it's time to get back to work on our new house. I can't wait! Although seeing how I've spent the last few days painting cabinets, trim and doors, I am kind of dreading the fact that as soon as I get home I will be getting right back to work on painting an endless amount of trim...<br /><br /> I hope you have a lovely Monday! A New Place to Decorate and a New Space for Dear Lillie - Jason's House (All BEFORE shots)

Jason is living in the two bedroom house and to the right you can see part of a structure that now contains our main office. (I took this from inside my car out on the road so it's really blurry). We plan on decorating this house with a slightly more masculine, modern feel to it seeing how most of the time it will be just Jason living here, although the girls and I will certainly be making our presence known especially in the summer. =) Here is a shot of the kitchen. We've already started working on updating it. The plan is to paint all of the cabinetry white and the walls Revere Pewter and replace the main counters as well as the island countertop, and make some changes to the island. We replaced the appliances already (after these photos were taken) and plan on removing the microwave and upper cabinets above the stove and adding a hood and then eventually replacing the floor (the floor will be the last thing we do and it may not be this summer). The design plan is pretty much all figured out and we have already started on some of these projects so I am hoping to have some DURING shots in a couple of weeks and then some AFTER ones this summer for you! Lillie was quite disappointed when she learned we were going to be painting the "pink" walls. She liked them just the way they were. =) My dad helped paint them recently and they are now Rockport Gray. I haven't been up to NH since Jason and my dad did any painting so I am excited to see it soon! Our Final Good-Bye to Moose Mountain

I am so sad that I didn't, but now that we are chasing around two little rascals and with a bunch of other things going on it is quite a bit harder to take photos than when we just had one little munchkin to keep an eye on. So, this year, I don't have a post full of all my favorite "pretty" photos from different blog posts. Today I thought I would show you a handful of the beautiful old homes I love driving and walking by every time we are up here.
