New Fairyland Thermal for Kids and Some Other Stuff!

Wow, it was a LONG weekend. After having a few days last week of feeling a better I got sooo sick on Thursday. I had pretty bad morning sickness with Lillie but don't remember it ever being this bad. I couldn't even get out of bed for 3 of the last 5 days. I got on a new prescription, though, today and it has helped. I still feel really nauseous but I actually have been able to run some errands and get some things done today which is such a relief. Time for a TUTU GIVEAWAY and a visit from "The Mooses"

(After they left yesterday morning she woke up from her nap singing a rather forlorn "My Mimi, My Papa.....My Mimi, My Papa...." It was so cute, but so sad.) It was so nice having them here. I hate that we live so far away from them. Anyway, she had a ball and now is missing them dearly. Last month I did a<a href="http://dearlillieblog.blogspot.com/2010/09/wedding-in-grand-tetons.html"> post</a> on the <a href="http://dearlillieblog.blogspot.com/2010/09/wedding-in-grand-tetons.html">Lassen wedding</a> that featured our Adeliene Dress, tutus and silk rosettes. The wedding was absolutely stunning. Well, this afternoon I got an email from the bride, Chelsea, saying that their wedding was featured on Glamour Magazine's website! And several people were wondering where the dresses and tutus were from. Needless to say we are quite excited. A Fun Fall Weekend!

We had quite the fun fall weekend! After September being grossly hot, the weather finally cooled down here on Friday and Lillie and I decorated the back porch and made some apple pie! Jon had a recruit on campus Saturday but we met up with him at the football game in the afternoon. It was a great game and we upset Villanova. Of course, we missed the entire second half because we were stuck behind the scoreboard in line with Lillie waiting to go on the big bouncy slide OVER and OVER and OVER - haha! Then we grabbed a quick dinner and headed over to the volleyball game. That was the third or fourth one we have taken her to this fall and she loves watching the girls and gets quite animated cheering. I am secretly (well, maybe not so secretly) hoping we will get to watch my cousin Lauren play here next year. (Are you reading this, Lauren? Please come to William and Mary!!!!)  After watching how excited Lillie gets at these games, I can't wait to see how excited she is going to get watching the basketball games this year. I may not be able to contain her!<br /><br />Then on Sunday, we took her to a little farm in Colonial Heights and picked out some pumpkins, played on the bouncy house, a bouncy slide, went on a hay ride, fed the goats, pet some ponies and had a grand ol' time! She loves being outside and especially loved the bouncy house (despite splitting her lip twice). Welcome Little Calla Blue!

On Friday night my older sister, Erin had her beautiful little girl, Calla Blue! I thought that Jon and I were going to have the best birthing story in the family after "Deer Lillie" which turned into Dear Lillie, but Erin's totally beat out ours. She and her older daughter, Remington, went out on a walk on Friday evening hoping to induce labor. Well, indeed it did! Mid-way through the walk Erin started having some contractions. They raced back home and before they could even pack up their bags and head to the hospital Calla Blue decided to appear! Haha! Erin ended up giving birth on Remy's bed and her husband Mike delivered Calla while the ambulance was racing to get there. The ambulance arrived shortly after Calla was born and they took Erin and Calla to the hospital where they are both doing great! The entire labor was like forty-five minutes from start to finish! How unfair is that? I was in the hospital in labor for twenty-three hours before Lillie arrived and pushed for two and a half hours. I am sooooo jealous! To celebrate, Lillie and I made an apple pie and did some decorating out on our back screened porch. I can't wait to head to the Farmer's Market tomorrow and get some real pumpkins! And on Sunday I think we are going to bring Lillie apple picking.
